BARBARA HUBERT
Barbara Hubert graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in 1999, at the Faculty of Painting. She spent the first three years of her studies in the studio of Professor Stanisław Rodziński, and then in the studio of Professor Leszek Misiak, where she obtained her diploma. She is a painter and a tutor: she is teaching drawing.
She is the author of 33 individual exhibitions in Poland and abroad; she took part in over 60 collective exhibitions and international open-air painting events.
As the painter herself defines it, she “collects impressions and wants to show the emotions associated with them in her works.”
The artist’s works are shown by the Katarzyna Napiórkowska Art Gallery in Warsaw and Brussels.

Barbara Hubert tak mówi o swoim malarstwie: “Chcę pokazywać lepsze strony życia, naświetlać bardziej kolorowe momenty rzeczywistości , malować w ten sposób, by widz oglądajac mógł poczuć temperaturę, zapach, smak mojego wycinka świata. Namalowanie obrazu jest zawsze zagadką i wyzwaniem- czy się powiedzie, czy zdołam pokazać właśnie to co chcę pokazać, czy przypadek odegra tym razem mniejszą czy większą rolę? ”

Barbara Hubert about her painting: “I want to show the better sides of life, highlight the more colourful moments of reality, paint in such a way that the viewer can feel the temperature, smell, taste of my part of the world. Painting a picture is always a puzzle and a challenge – is it possible? Will I be able to show exactly what I want to show, or will chance play a smaller or larger role this time?”
