JÓZEF WILKOŃ

JÓZEF WILKOŃ (born in 1930)

Polish illustrator, painter and art historian. He studied at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (diploma in 1955) and at the Faculty of Art History at Jagiellonian University. He illustrated over 200 books for children and adults published in Poland and abroad.

1969 – Gold Medal at the Illustration Biennale in Bratislava BIB (Slovakia)
