WARSAW AND ITS HERITAGE

Warsaw is a fascinating city that has been regaining its identity for many post-war years. The problematic and tragic history of Warsaw, as well as its former multiculturalism, are an exciting background for the story of the cultural heritage of this city. The post-war reconstruction process caused the town to rise like a phoenix from the ashes. Today, it is on the UNESCO list, and its palaces, churches and museums are full of objects that are a perfect pretext for telling stories about history. To feel the extraordinary spirit of this place.

We organize lectures and talks, thanks to which you can learn the outline of Warsaw’s history in the context of Poland’s and Europe’s history in an interesting form. The emphasis is placed on the most important, groundbreaking moments, and the story includes selected works of art that can be seen in Poland.

The lectures are led by Dr. Justyna Napiórkowska, a culture, art and European studies historian.
