MARTYNA WOLNA (b. 1988 )
Martyna Wolna studied at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. She received her diploma from the studios of prof. Teresa Miszkin and prof. Aleksander Widyński. She has won a honorable mention in the Grand Prix organized by Franciszka Eibisch Foundation.

In her paintings, she uses expressive brushstrokes, so that they convey emotions and energy. She also likes to explore painterly effects on the canvas. Sha mainly painst in large formats.

The artist also refers in some of her works to the concept of recycling, by creating artworks made of redundant materials.
