Justyna Caputa about the Plants of the future series
“Plants of the future – drawn fabrics” are four unique compositions in which I wanted to express my concerns about what the world will look like in the future. The ongoing climate crisis was a starting point for me to imagine a world without organic plants. All that remains are objects that are a substitute for the flora on our planet.

I was inspired by the items sections in DIY stores. After seeing, touching, and studying them, I created proposals for various futuristic plants using crayons.

The plants themselves are intertwined, wild and untamed. They can grow on other plants, so the rules of our world no longer apply to them. The contrasting colours used in the works are intended to emphasize the nature of their expansion further. I hope I won’t live to see such a world.

We invite you to familiarize yourself with the offer of works of art for sale. They include selected artists – both classics and representatives of the younger generation.
